   The woman in black is badass.

   It’s a good thing the creepy guy’s got no daughters.

   I also should feel bad for picturing him being castrated by seventeen sperm whales happily munching on his penis, but somehow I don’t.

     This guy is so wrong about female circumcision. It is a cultural practice, preceding Muhammad by thousands of years, there is no mention of it in Qur’an, there are no reputable hadith that prescribe it — it is not a part of Islam. It has simply become associated with it by people too uneducated to know any better. I’m linking to an article I wrote several years ago on the subject. It’s not perfect, and the focus is not on the Islamic standing of FGC, but it should be informative nonetheless.    So a young woman calls a man in authority about a problem with, what I would consider irritation, not arousal, and his response is “cut it off?” Why not just suggest she wear thicker underpants or looser jeans? Why would a circumcision be a better solution? (& wtf with him referring to it as her ‘thing?’)
