I know the rage of which you speak, I feel it all too well myself. There was so much objectionable in every line for some stretches that I got all anxious I wouldn't be able to even know where to start untangling all the irrational rationalizing knots of his writing. I had to take deep breaths and walk around a little and tell myself it was okay, I had plenty of time to write and to take things slowly and line by line dissect it all systematically and methodically and not to just blurt out all the objections too much too fast. Even with how it came out, I still see more room for more details to seize on or some points to have developed a little more deeply but just getting out a basically clear and minimally thorough reply felt really, really relieving.

I'd say something witty about how you succeeded in making him look not only stupid, but also nutty and delusional, only halfway through the post I was sort of blinded with raaaaaage.

I mean, HOW can you think it's OK to brainwash people? I seriously can't understand WHY some people would choose to live in a world where there are no questions left to answer, because whenever you don't know something, or have doubts, you can just tell yourself "god (whichever one) did it" or "god is just testing my faaaith". It might seem safe or whatever, but it is also the world of total intellectual death.
